Corner Store

The types of food that was sold at the corner stores were chips, candy, drinks, cigarettes, canned foods, and other things people need. Between all the corner stores they all sold chips, candy, and sodas. One store sold hair care products, another sold prepared foods, and the other sold Chinese Food. The corner stores had every little fresh foods unlike Fresh Grocer, where they have a wide verity of fresh foods from the fruits and vegetables to the meats. The demographic of customers at the corner store are students and the people who either work or live around the area. I think there are so many corner stores around Philadelphia because it is more convenient accessibility for people. Also most people do not feel like walking to a market unless it is in a 5 block radius. My ideal corner store is a place where they sell everything. For example Fresh Grocer sells both fresh foods and also chips. People need more choice when it comes to shopping at a corner store. Also my ideal corner store would also be connected to a community garden and everyone in the area could help out with it.
