Farmers Market

1. Post a new list of questions that you plan on asking the FM staff this week. What made you think of them?

Some questions I would ask the Manager or Farmer at the farmers market this week is :

• What kinds of food would you like to sell that you don't already grow?



• How long have you been working with the head farmer?



• How long on average does it take for you to grow your foods?



• If a big corporation offered you a major contract to produce there foods faster with chemicals and other harmful things would you take the offer?



• What do you do with the foods you do not sell?

What made me think of these questions was the movie Food Inc. The movie makes you question a lot about where and how your food is being made, Also after the first run of questions it makes it easier to think about other interesting questions people usually don't think about.

2. After having gone to the FM, what makes you interested in going back?

I am interested in going back to the Farmer's Market because I would like to support the farmers who actually care about the peoples well being. Another reason would be to see if the foods at the grocery store tastes different from the foods at the farmers market. Next I would like to be able to get to know more about what they do and how the produce our foods. Lastly I think the fresh food would be better to eat.
